Ondra Renda Aasaigal

Back after a long silence due to bad cough and cold which lasted for nearly a month or so.Have not completely recovered yet.So I have tried singing a song which has very little high scales. This is also my first attempt to sing a song with base notes. It is one of my favourite songs sung by Bombay Jayashree. It is amazing to see how she handles both karnatic music as well as film songs with great ease with her own unique style.Known for her sweet voice, Jayashree, who had her initial training under Bombay T R Balamani and got advanced training from the violin maestro Lalgudi Jayaraman, who is an artist in demand. She has many albums to her credit and has performed in many parts of the world.

Film:Kaakha Kaakha
Originally sung by:Bombay jayashree
Music:Harris Jayaraj

Very good rendition Divya...

Barring the hiss I hear which I assume is due to the mic, you have a smooth sailing boat here(-:

Sure it's hard to sing jeyashree's songs...her voice goes more towards low notes...she can go to a very low note and still sound sweet as ever...according to me, it's very hard...u have rendered it very well, but still (it could be because of ur throat) i personally felt the original feel was not fulfilled...it's not missing...but it's not 100% either...i would say it's abt 80%...i know this is not ur type of song, considering ur throat and ur sweet high pitched voice, it's brilliant!! personally, i love ur voice, say i am a big fan of u...keep singing more songs...regards!!
