Vadakkumnathan: Malayalam Movie of Mohanlal
Cast: Mohanlal, Kavya Madhavan, Padhmapriya, Biju Menon, Balachandra Menon, Kalabhavan Mani, Murali Music: Raveendran
Lyrics: Gireesh Puthenchery
Director: Shajoon Karyal

Mohanlal is living the role of Bharatha Pisharody, a Sanskrit professor in Shajun Karol's Vadakkumnathan. Mohanlal is excited about the film and said only rarely you get roles like this. The professor is on a mystic journey to find answers to certain issues in the film. The heroine of the film is the Telugu actress Padhmapriya and this is her first film with Mohanlal and her recent role in Kazhcha was much appreciated, Girish Puthencherry pens script for the film. ‘Vadakkomnathan’ was the last film that Ravindran last composed music for before his demise. The Mohanlal- Raveendran-Yesudas trio has churned out many hits in the past. Six songs composed by Raveendran have a classical touch. Mohanlal says "Vadakkumnathan is different in all ways. Raveendran Master has given some mind blowing melodious classical numbers for the film.
Kalabham tharam... ' from the recently released `Vadakkumnathan,' the last movie for which Raveendran Master scored music.

simichechi
that was a very difficult aalaap to sing. I heard the aalaap three times. you have doone it very well. Only a very minor mistake towards the end.
the song is very well rendered divya. you are one girl who likes to challenge yourself and I like it. By the way through out the song your volume was much lower than the karaoke. You may want to be careful next time about this.
Personally I dont really care for the karaoke but just your voice.
Divya
Belated Onam wishes.
Very well sung, but as Murali has pointed out kindly increase the volume of the vocals.
Ok now I have updated the song as per MURALI chetan's instructions.Hope it is fine now.
hi divya,
I listened to the second version. It is definitely better than the first one. Please do not add a lot of reverb which will muddy the pronunication. or else, it is just fine.
Very nice Divya...
I agree with Murali...U have sung such a difficult alaap very well..U have an excellent range! Very beautiful, Divya!
Great job Divya! Just amazing!!!
Hi Divya,
You have a lovely voice.
I stumbled on all these audio blogs by mistake - yours, Jo's, Meera's, Pradeep's and Murali's - and am enjoying it thoroughly.
Keep up the good work.
Very good job Divya! just if you can reduce the reverb a little more it will give more clarity to your voice and words...
