very good attempt divya..this is one of my favorite oldtimers..you were technically flawless...the lil murkhis that you added on your own..enhanced the beauty of the song..but if you listen to the original version...there arent many murkhis...it is sung by an innocent girl...enjoying rain and feeling her love... IMHO...too much of murkhis take the innocence of the song...but otherwise you were near perfect as usual :)

Great attempt ...this is a signature song from Lataji.

Overall it was very enjoyable ..as this is a very difficult song.

One observation -- in that stanza in the lower octave 'jaisa rimjhim ..' thought you could have had more bhavam..

hey divya, I must say you that I'm not an expertise or a music bluff to comment..All I do is just sit bak nd njoy music,& I do tht pretty well..I think you have done a very good job in this, keeping close with the original to the maximum, yet remaining true to your voice and style without mimicking;resulting in an,I must say, Marvellous musical treat.. I simply loved this song to the full and you not going in for any mimick was one thing that is commentable and highly appreciable for i find most people now try to mimick than to sing..but you have striked gold with this(or say all those who love good music has),wonderfull O sajna.. keep the good work going..

I think ur pronunciation is improving. singing is fine as usual.

a lil more bhaavam in places like "tum ko pukaare" is required.

Hi,
I just happen to visit your blog by chance...and I consider myself lucky to have gotten a chance to listen to your song. The first thing that came to my mind was "Oh!My Lord!" You have such a beautiful voice..not too shrill..has the right amount of huskiness to it. And you have sung this song so so so well..I just fell in love with u're rendition of the song. Your murkhi's were awesome. I noticed that u did miss a murkhi in the second antara...where she says..tere hi khwaab mein kho gaye.....But thats ok. Overall..it was superb, fantastic, outstanding, mindblowing..fantabulous:)...Are you a trained classical singer? Do u do Hindustani or Carnatic? Do let me know...I'm a big fan of u'rs now:)...Good Luck!! Have you thought about participating in the talent shows? ..U should:)
Sincerely,
Your New Fan:)
